“ When I conceived, her therapy comprising of simple stretches, breathing exercises, gentle back mobilization did wonders to my back On a personal note it is helping me a lot to deal with daily hassles of my pregnancy”

I have been visiting the Phyworld clinic for the past one and a half years now. Initially I was very hesitant as I felt fit and my body weight was within the range. Hence, did not feel the need to go to a fitness center.

But first time when I joined in, Dr.Vandana with her personal touch checked me thoroughly. It was then, when I realized that how many aches and pains were going on in my body with the stiffness in most of the parts. It came as a big surprise for me that I was so inflexible and unfit too.

Not only this, it also provides ANTENATAL CLASSES for the expecting women with the techniques of breathing and exercises to deal with the blues of pregnancy.

"My experience with "The phyworld Clinic" was simply amazing right from the start of my treatment from the stage - when I could not even stand on my own till the end - when I had recovered completely"

I still remember the numerous physios I had gone to before meeting Dr Vandana, whom I truly believe was my saviour. She is so qualified and professional in her approach that she was able to diagnose my root problem which other doctors were not able to. I was very weak and totally bed ridden. Following numerous tests under her recommendations, I was diagnosed with juvenile osteoporosis with T scores of -3.7. I immediately started my rigorous rehab at her clinic from July 2008. Within three months I was functionally recovered to the best of my capabilities and was independent in all tasks. My T Scores showed remarkable drop to -1.9.

In short – I can say – If the science of physiotherapy can heal your problem – then you will be definitely cured here. Just be patient and do exactly as advised by Dr. Vandana. God Willing – You will be cured definitely

I am in mid 30's & have recently moved to New Delhi,India. I am a sports enthusiast , love playing squash and have a passion for running marathons. I have lived in Thailand for many years, was very active in squash circuit over there & have played & represented top Sports club in Bangkok.

All squash players have heard stories about other squash players that snap their Achilles tendon.Of course this always happens to the other guy and nothing can prepare you for when the "other guy" becomes you !!
It was like any other night & I was locked in an epic squash battle. I was stretching for a back hand shot when I felt my Achilles snap. For me the best way of describing it is imagine having a big thick elastic band strapped inside your leg and then someone cuts it !! Surgical correction of the ruptured tendon is almost always necessary & I was also advised to get an immediate surgery, I was lucky to find a good doctor and got the surgery done as suggested. Following the tendon repair, complete bed rest is recommended for 10 - 15 days. Therapy and exercises should begun soon after surgery & two weeks rest. This therapy process is critical in the recovery after tendon rupture, and without a carefully monitored program, full recovery is never possible

Post surgery ,I was trying to get myself back into shape with my own varied exercise programme but it wasn't working. I seemed to take one step forward and two steps back - when I tried to up my exercise routine I was plagued by a growing catalogue of aches and pains. The expertise of PHY WORLD Clinic was recommended to me by a friend & I cant thank him enough for it. It was a relief to put myself in the hands of Dr.Vandana and the PHY World team. The coordinated one-stop shop for physio, training and nutrition advice has been my saviour. At the end of the twelve week at PHY World , I was significantly stronger and fitter. My aches and pains had faded away.I was training at quite an intense level without resulting injury. I had lots of more energy and was enjoying getting back into playing squash & running . At present , I am back in shape, playing squash regularly and am looking forward to competing in Airtel Delhi Marathon & Chaing Mai Half Marathon in Thailand by end of this year.

The entire team at PHY World is superb from end to end and there's not one person I'd leave out in this thanks. I can't thank you enough.I am glad to have been treated by PHY World Team , they have treated some of India's finest sports men & women, including professional athletes from Indian Tennis & Squash Association.

Thanks so much to all involved in my rehab !

"I have been playing tennis from the last 20 years. I was suffering from severe knee pain and could not concentrate on my game for past few years. Then I came to the clinic in September 2010 and took few sessions of physiotherapy. I also took the body conditioning package for a month following the treatment. Now I feel much better and able to concentrate more on my game. The treatment and the rehab has definitely improved my fitness level, proprioception, balance skills and agility that I could reach the semifinal of ITF this year."

I had an acute pain in low back in October 2008, due to which I could not continue my job. My wish to conceive a baby seemed to be a farfetched thought because of my back pain. I had lost all hope, was disheartened and went into withdrawal, but somewhere in my mind I never wanted to lose hope so came to the clinic in July 2009 to try out all options. I took physiotherapy for 1 month there. I had a marvellous complete rehabilitation. I joined back my work. I also conceived later and now blessed with a baby. Thanks a lot to her
